Friends of the Working Men’s Institute Lectures

2013 Lectures

Founded in 1838, the Working Mens’ Institute (WMI) is Indiana’s oldest continually operating public library. Since its founding, it has had the mission of adding to the education and edification of the community it serves, believing that everyone benefits from mutual instruction.

The lecture series, sponsored by the Friends of WMI, continues this tradition of community-level instruction, offering information on a wide range of subjects pertinent to the community. The five lectures scheduled for this year remain true to this vision.
