SUMMARY:Inner Vision Part 2: Jungian Insights in Popular Culture
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nCarl Jung’s groundbreaking ideas are not just conf
 ined to psychology textbooks—they live and breathe in the culture around
  us. From dream interpretation to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator\, from p
 opular books and mindfulness practices to the stories on our movie screens
 \, Jung’s influence is woven into our everyday language and imagination.
   His ideas are developed straightforwardly in fantasy content\, storytel
 ling\, alternative spirituality\, self-help and recovery communities.\n\nT
 his program will explore how Jungian principles surface in surprising ways
 \, with special attention to three films and their central characters: The
  Truman Show (1998)\, American Beauty (1999)\, and John Huston’s 1956 ad
 aptation of Moby Dick. Each provides a powerful lens for understanding sha
 dow\, archetypes\, individuation\, and the quest for meaning. We’ll also
  look at the enduring popularity of the Myers-Briggs and its roots in Jung
 ’s theory of psychological types.\n\nJoin us for a lively\, accessible d
 iscussion that brings Jung’s insights into focus through the lens of mod
 ern culture and timeless storytelling.\n\nNote: You do not need to have at
 tended Part One\, but to feel prepared for the event\, it would be helpful
  to watch the movies and take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. \n\n&nbsp\;
