Presidential Road Trips with Bill Clevlen
Travel journalist Bill Clevlen will be hosting an engaging presentation on his latest book, “Presidential Roadtrips,” at the Working Men’s Institute. During the event, Bill will share fun stories and videos from his visits to all of America’s presidential sites. You’ll see everything from the room where Harry Truman was born to the bed where Thomas Jefferson died. He will be signing copies of the new book following the presentation.

Independence Day Celebration-Murphy Auditorium
The Executive Director of the Working Men’s Institute, Ryan Rokicki, who also serves as co-chair of the Owen Maclure 200th bicentennial committee, will deliver the keynote address during New Harmony’s annual Independence Day Celebration.
Karen Moser will join the festivities by reading the Declaration of Independence, adding to the significance and tradition of the event.
