4th Annual New Harmony Invasive Presentation and Golf Cart Tour
PIP and the Garden Club of New Harmony are excited to announce our fourth annual event, which will be held in early spring for the first time. Our speaker will be Kelley Morgan, the Site Manager of the Indiana State Historic Sites at New Harmony.
Spring is a great time to identify invasives, as their green buds typically appear before the native plants. As a result, they can impact and block the development of spring ephemeral plants and other natives.
An optional golf cart tour will follow the presentation at the WMI in New Harmony. We will have a route along the Wabash River as well as an alternate in the event of seasonal floods.
