Rod Clark Blends travel photography with historical insight, offering a vivid photographic exploration of the places that shaped Robert Owen’s visionary experiment in community through images captured in Newtown, Wales; New Lanark, Scotland; and New Harmony, Indiana. Rod traces the landscapes, architecture, and ideas that defined Owen’s transatlantic world.  The program will offer a unique look at how the ideals of the Community of Equality were rooted in and transformed by the places Owen called home. You will gain fresh perspectives on the people, hopes, and complexities behind one of the most ambitious social experiments of the 19th century.
