Sara Milonovich with Greg Anderson
New Harmony music enthusiasts are in for an extraordinary experience with the upcoming performance by the celebrated singer, fiddler, and songwriter Sara Milonovich. Renowned for her enchanting fusion of indie alt-grass, folk rock, and American roots music, Milonovich will grace the stage at the WMI on Saturday, September 13th, at 7:00 p.m.
With a remarkable career that spans diverse musical genres and continents, Milonovich’s journey began at the tender age of four when she first picked up the fiddle. By the age of nine, she was leading her own band, and at twelve, she had already released her debut album. Throughout her illustrious career, she has had the privilege of performing alongside legendary artists such as Pete Seeger, Richard Shindell, Eliza Gilkyson, and Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys, further testament to her artistic versatility and talent.
Joining Milonovich for this evening of musical artistry will be Greg Anderson, her accomplished guitarist, producer, and fellow bandmate from the noted group Daisycutter. Anderson himself carries an impressive musical pedigree, having collaborated with a multitude of distinguished artists, including Eileen Ivers, Cry Cry Cry, Cathie Ryan, Doctor Nerve, and The Klezmatics.
The concert will take place in the Maclure Room, creating an inviting atmosphere conducive to an engaging musical experience. Given the limited seating available, attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive early to ensure they do not miss this exceptional opportunity to witness a night of extraordinary music.
